Learn, do, earn with Dynamics 365 - Session 1

**If we are to ignore the fact that I set up 5 meetings to make sure everything works fine( but then couldn't remember which was the right link, so I joined ALL the meetings) the first session went really well. **

As you know, the plan is to gain the Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Sales certification.

We're getting there by following this roadmap (open the image in a new tab, to be able to read it): I will enhance this map as we go along.

In the mean time, here's what we talked about this evening:

1. What is CRM?

We went through some general use cases of CRM, focusing on sales. I emphasized everyone uses a CRM one way or the other. I wrote a whole article on this subject.

2. Study Materials

Microsoft offers a series of eBooks as pdf and pptx. This is a great way to start learning about CRM. Find out more on how to get the study materials here.

3. Dynamics Learning Portal (DLP)

DLP offers important resources, such as videos and manuals for the exam. This is how you can gain access to DLP.

4. Dynamics 365 trial instance

Future sessions will go through Dynamics 365 functionality and for this we need a CRM organization. Here's how to start a trial.
